Achievements for 2007 & Results 2008.
The Dance School had an amazing 2007. So congratulations to all of the school and lets hope 2008 - more dreams come true!!!
These are just a few of our achievements for 2007.
- Our performance at the London Palladium
- Stephanie Bowers took her Associate Freestyle teacher exam.
- The school taking their IDTA Freestyle exams and the majority receiving "Honors" from One Dance to Star 3.
- Kada Marshall performing at The New Theatre in Oxford - "High School Musical".
- Elise Claire taking part in her first Hip Hop video for " Beazy".
- Rya Blackwell becoming an Under 14 Premier Champion in Disco Freestyle.
- Nathan Daniel, Kyron Anthony, Elise Claire, Kada Marshall, Shakrihia Chatman, Rya Blackwell, Sophie Stallard and Sharna Clark qualified to go to the Street Dance International Grand Finals at Fairfield Halls in Croydon.
- Kada Marshall and Kyron Anthony came 1st in there under 12 solo events in Croydon.
- Elise Claire came 4th in the Under 16 solo event in Croydon.
- Shakrihia Chatman came 2nd in the Under 12 Solo event in Croydon
- Kada Marshall & Rya Blackwell came 5th in the Under 16 Pairs event in Croydon.
- "Furious" came 1st at the qualifier in Kent to Represent England at the World Championships in Germnay.
- "Furious" came 6th at the World Hip Hop Championships in Brenem, Germnay.
- Stephanie Bowers and Sarah Walker both got married.
- Kerry Brown had a baby boy - "Chay"
- I was the England Team Official at the World Hip Hop Championships in Germany.
- Myself and Jane Hollis ran the Oxford Street Dance Championships, which was also a qualifying heat for Croydon
- Street Dance International AGM was held at my school, where Marlon from "Flawless" held workshops.
- All the Disco Freestyle competitors and the Street Dance competitors have been very successful all year.
- Nathan Daniel winning every event he entered at the Hastings Weekender.
- Ashleigh Vass winning "Most Improved Dancer".

All these dancers have qualified for this years World Hip Hip Championships in Germany, along with "Furious" (Under 12 group) who had automatic qualification as they did so well last year. Good Luck!!!!!
The Dreams that have already come true in 2008!!!
Well what can I say, we are in May and already so many dreams for the dance school have come true.
As you see from the above results from the competition, we are certainly making a mark in ADFP and SDI Competitions. Not only that, lots of other fantastic work has been going on in the dance school. In April I performed and taught two workshops for BBC Blast - Your Game in Bristol, which was fantastic. I worked along side some great MC's, 1Xtra Radio DJ's. Also a great act - "Ball Fusion" and The Arsenal Ladies Team.
Also in April, Myself and Jane Hollis organized the biggest Street Dance International Event yet!! The Day was very successful, with approximately 1400 people, you can imagine how busy the day was. It was also the qualifying heat for the World Championships in Germany in June of this year. And yet again some of my fabulous dancers will be dancing in the England Team again this year. With 5 soloists, 2 pairs and my Under12 Group "Furious". I will also be England Team Official again this year, which is a great honor.
Sunday 27th April was this years "Street Ahead " Production at The London Palladium. 27 of my dancers took part in this great evening of entertainment.There was some great acts, such as Boy Blue Entertainment, Ball Fusion and Unity. The evening was hosted by the hilarious Kevin Adams, who also wowed the crowd with his moves. All my dancers worked extremely hard rehearsing for the big night, and some of them had only been dancing a few months. I had a great response from parents and other schools about you all. So a huge well done to all of you that took part. Check out the photos in my Photo Gallery.
The School have appeared in the Leys News twice, The Oxford Mail/Journal/Times twice, and The Reading Post twice already this year. And late in May I will be interviewed by BBC Oxford Radio about how successful my dance school are and our great achievement in making the England Team again this year.
The achievement's don't stop there, as soon as I am back from germany, the rehearsal's for "Stars in your Yard" starts. Where we will be performing in London during July. And I will be choreographing the performance.
