Principal Dance Teacher - Kelly Chandler.
I started dancing at the age of 5 when I joined Brett's School of Dance in Oxford. I competed in Freestyle Disco competition and took IDTA exams until at the age of 15 when I had a leg injury which prevented me from continuing but because of my love of dance, I began to help out in dance classes which I found more fulfilling than competing. I took my Associate Freestyle exam at the age of 18, which gave me the ambition and confidence to branch out by myself.
In my early twenties I danced in clubs and at major events for various artists. But my love for teaching grew stronger.Two years ago I became a full time dance teacher thats when I took my Licience Freestyle exam, so I am now a championship adjudicator. I have very successful Freestyle dancers from Beginner to Championship grade.
Over the years I have always loved Hip Hop, R& B and Ragga music which I believe has helped me to also create a very successful Street Dance School. They have performed at the London Palladium and represented England at the World Hip Hop Championships in Germany for the last two years. I am also a member of the Street Dance international committee, where part of my role this year was being England's SDI Team Official for the World Hip Hip Championships in Germany.
My main aim when teaching is to make the class enjoyable and fun for the kids whilst still maintaining a high standard of ability. I encourage flexibility and a high level of Stamina and love bring out each individual dancers personality.

is based at Blackbird Leys Leisure Centre in Oxford.
Our dancers range from 3 years upwards.We do IDTA Exams, ADFP Freestyle Competitions, SDI Streetdance Competitions,Workshops, Displays, Theatre and Show work or just for fun!!
